Unfortunately the school terminal exams always used to happen right between navratri! :| I hated those exams... grrr.. And playing dandiya is fun only when you have the 'right' partner with oou, hai na?! Still remember some of the standard songs at navratri... the songs without which no dandiya celebration can get over... pari hoon mein... ye desh hai veer jawaano ka... dholi taaro dhol baaje... bholi soorat dil ke khotey... and many many more! *sigh* (I think I am getting senti now... wipes magarmachh ke aansoo from his spectacled eyes..)
