Laptop Lags
I have been wanting to update for quite a while now, but what does one do with a broken laptop and a home computer where you cannot sit and read something without ma, pa, or bro looking over one’s shoulder. So there. Perfect excuse right?
The Punju guy has finally got himself a log in for the site! “sach batau..time hi nahi milta” are the infamous words when I coax, cajole, and threaten him to write something! Men!
The year is about to end! What a year! What a year to look forward to ahead! 2006 has been a very busy and remarkable year for me, both personally and professionally. Now I am applying to D school programs all across the east coast - lets see kya hota hai. Chopped all my split ended, long hair last week. Cut it down to chin length. I quite like it. Ma has this famous story about when I was younger that she goes around telling everybody. And ofcourse as if I had not already heard it a million times, everyone feels compelled to tell the same story to me again…it usually starts with “your mom told me that when you were young…” yea I know!!! So anyway, the story goes that when I was in school, ma used to always get my hair cut short the bob cuts and blunt cuts that used to be popular then. I used to whine and whimper at the thought of getting my hair cut. She also does not forget to mention that when I had long hair she would braid it for school and I would always complain about one braid being shorter than the other. She has this “told you so” look everytime I smile at my light, fluffy short hair now
Gotten quite a few compliments actually
Something new to take to the new year there.
2006 leaves a lot to look forward to in 2007. Maybe a trip to India again? Ma and Pa leave in January..I don’t know about me, maybe over the summer. Maybe B moves here by the end of the year……2006 was awesome..I wish 2007 turns out even better!!!!
Oh and yes, maybe I will fix my laptop next year
And maybe B will blog here someday…
Season’s Greetings !!!
Wish all your maybe’s come true in 2007…:)
Mehak Thanks mehakji! likewise:)
Your situation reminds me of what I read at DJ’s blog…one where he is fidgety about his moustache …and the day when he can sum up courage to chop it off !
He compares the man’s trauma of getting rid of the moustache to the one where girls get their long hair cut, forcibly, thanks to the whims and fancies of their guardians !
Hi Prakash..LOL..that was soo long ago about DJs mooch! bhahaha..it WAS traumatic then! haha..good to see you here..btw never saw you comment at DJs either..are you the same PV? or a different Prakash?…but do keep coming
let’s hope that he blogs soon! tumhare gharwalon ne toh humko unki bahen banaa dee..isliya hum apne b bhai se kehte hain ke bhaiya ji…hamari bhabhiji ki taraf se guzaarish hai ke aap thoda thoda blogging karna shuru karu.
Poonam I am gonna let him take a look at this and reply to it…
